This novel aluminum alloy (US Patent No. 11,401,585) is designed to have a game-changing impact on advanced materials markets. With high-temperature properties, the alloy can be an alternative to titanium, giving, for example, lightweighting benefits to satellite, aerospace, space, and racing applications. This Patent further demonstrates how QuesTek’s unique Materials by Design® technology enables the design of alloys specifically for use in Additive Manufacturing. QuesTek holds 5 US Patents for ICMD® advanced alloys specifically for Additive Manufacturing, with 4 more Patents pending for Additive Alloys.
