Evanston, IL – August 18, 2022 – QuesTek Innovations, the primary operating subsidiary of QuesTek International LLC, announced today that it won the AM Bench (Additive Manufacturing Benchmark Test Series) 2022 1st Place award, further demonstrating the company’s leadership in Additive Manufacturing processes and applications, and Materials by Design® technology.
Sponsored by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) and judged by members of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the AM Benchmark Test Series is tasked with selecting benchmark measurements that are both feasible and have the highest impact on the AM community. QuesTek was recognized for achieving best modeling results predicting macroscale tensile behavior of as-built IN625 specimens at different orientations. Dr. Abhinav Saboo, a member of QuesTek’s winning team received the award in person at the AM Bench Conference that was held in Maryland this week.
